Description:

This course will further explore intermediate film production concepts in a lab setting with a more pronounced emphasis on "mise-en-scene." With a team, you will learn to communicate ideas cinematically in each stage of the production process and be introduced to more advanced principles of cinematography, lighting, gripping and intermediate sound in film storytelling. Through the creation of short films, you will practice the fundamentals of organizing and scheduling film productions and apply aesthetic principles of filmmaking in collaboration with student actors.
