The first half of this term will focus on a richer understanding of the Newstalk format, paying particular attention to interviewing techniques and practices. You will also staff the campus radio station during labs and volunteer / specialty show times. In the second half of the term you will learn basic radio programming tools and techniques. Students who apply for, and successfully gain a radio station department head position will be assigned responsibility for the operation and maintenance of specific departments within the radio station, CRNC, The Heat.
