Description:

Building on the training from first-year film, this course will advance your skill levels in "sync" sound cinema production with the application of more intermediate motion picture techniques. As part of a team, you will create commercials of varying lengths and 5-minute films, during which you will demonstrate applied skills such as shot composition, lighting, sound recording, and editing aesthetics. Throughout the semester, your creativity and technical competence will be challenged through a series of lectures, workshops and practical exercises leading to an appreciation of the balance between the historical aesthetic and the technical aspects of digital cinema production. Your team will create commercials of varying lengths and 5-minute films.

  • BRTF1241 - Filmmaking II AND
  • BRTF1242 - TV Studio Production II
