Description:

This course will introduce and familiarize you with the functions of personal computers with an emphasis on the Mac operation system and computer fundamentals such as interfaces and architecture as well as file management and information storage. You will produce projects using a variety of file formats, codecs and applications. You will build upon knowledge and skills acquired working with Mac OS X on Apple computer platforms. Applications for Adobe Photoshop in Broadcasting will be examined with attention to professional design techniques. You will create visuals appropriate for incorporation into television and film productions.
