This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of filmmaking. Students will study visual storytelling, cinematic space and time, film continuity, cinematography and film editing. However, the course emphasizes technical considerations, aesthetic and stylistic considerations will be addressed, as will a brief history of filmmaking.
