Description:

In this course, you will learn how various ingredients in the beer-making process affect beer style and quality. You will examine and analyze malt, specialty malts and adjuncts. You will explore the impact different yeasts have on the final beer. You will analyze and discuss the cultivation of hops and the varieties that come from the principal production areas worldwide. You will investigate the effects of hops and other flavouring ingredients on wort production and the development of beer flavour.
