Description:

In this course, you will learn how various ingredients in the beer-making process affect the style and quality of beer. You will examine and analyze malt, specialty malts and adjuncts. You will explore the impact different yeasts have on the final beer. You will analyze and discuss the growing of hops and varieties of hops that come from the principal production areas worldwide. You will investigate the effect that hops and other flavour ingredients have on the production of wort and the development of beer flavour.
