This course offers participants a strong overview of the e-commerce industry, the various kind of strategies employed within the industry, and the practical application of those strategies. Issues and trends in the e-commerce industry will be explored using case-based discussion. Students will learn how to analyze and develop key components of an e-commerce site before beginning actual development. In groups, participants will then plan and develop an e-commerce website. Finally, participants will learn how to collect and use business analytics to aid in decision-making and optimization.
