Description:

The plant-pollinator interaction will provide a key area of focus of this course which will provide students an opportunity to analyze and assess the pollination ecology that supports both wild and managed pollinators in North America. Pollination conservation will also be investigated with the importance of pollinators to wild plants, crops and overall ecosystems demonstrated through various means. Students will be able to assess and recommend the steps involved in a pollinator protection strategy and evaluate their effectiveness on both managed and wild honey bee populations.
