Description:

This basic medical terminology course focuses on the parts of medical terms: prefixes, suffixes, and word roots. You will practice forming, analyzing, and reconstructing terms. There will be some emphasis on spelling, definition, and pronunciation. Where possible, you will follow the content in Human Anatomy and Physiology and give a brief overview of the pathophysiology of conditions seen in systems studied in that course.
