This course will introduce you to the anatomy (form) and physiology (function) of the organ systems that make up the human body. Beginning at the microscopic level and culminating in a macroscopic perspective, you will investigate anatomical features and physiological concepts of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems using a variety of print and electronic learning resources. Emphasis will be placed on each system's contribution to maintaining homeostasis. This course will provide a strong foundation for subsequent studies of pathophysiology and client care.
