Description:

In this course you will learn key terminology and principles of beer, wine and spirits production through lab and field components. Known collectively as factors of production, you will be introduced to the various natural and human influences that determine the final style of beverage produced. These include but are not limited to raw materials including various origins, permissible ingredients, key tools and processes of production, maturation, packaging, and storage. Review of key scientific principles and concepts will be provided as necessary and relevant.
