This course will provide students with an overview of how communications affect the modern international hospitality marketplace, and of the ways that changes in the international community have affected that marketplace. Communication theories and cross-cultural issues, procedures, and protocols will be examined for their relevance in attracting and managing vacation experiences and meeting international quality expectations. The course culminates in an international communications strategy for a multifaceted hospitality enterprise. The course will equip you with the tools needed to operate effectively in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
