In this course, students build baking product development skills. Integrating an understanding of industrially relevant manufacturing processes and technical ingredients with a knowledge of contemporary consumer and nutritional trends, students will produce and promote a retail ready baked product according to customer specifications. They will develop and apply a variety of documentation and communication skills to effectively and accurately track the evolution of their baked good and promote it to the customer and potential investors.
