In this course, you will learn the role of Financial Accounting within the Hospitality Industry. Additionally, the importance of economic and financial information, tools and procedures necessary to prepare and generate financial statements to meet the needs and requirements of a hospitality operation will be examined. Emphasis will be placed on key financial reports and daily decisions facing operators and owners of food service facilities, accommodations and other tourist service properties found within the hospitality industry.
