Description:

In this course you will define crisis management and be able to develop a strategic approach to the management of a crisis situation. You will integrate concepts from communications and organizational behaviour to provide insight into aspects of crises that are commonly overlooked. You will analyze the impact of a crisis on a business through research and information from business professionals, The course culminates with you preparing a crisis management plan aimed at a specific enterprise of your choice. In the plan, you will include such elements as risk assessment, internal crisis management policies, procedures to handle the crisis, and business recovery phase; both with external and internal stakeholders, as well as steps to train and keep the plan up-dated.
