In this course you will learn introductory and advanced methods of revenue management strategies employed with various sectors of the hospitality and tourism industry. You will develop an understanding of the importance of monitoring external environment behaviour (consumers, government, and competitors) as well as the internal environment (management perspectives and action). The most viable and current revenue management strategies will be critically examined and analyzed in the context of strategic partnerships at various levels (operational, regional, corporate, government, and bi-national).
