You will examine types of events (e.g. corporate, cultural, sports, festivals) and methods for achieving maximum customer impact and profitability for successful event management. Using large, national and international events to community festivals, you will explore a range of management approaches and work in groups to design, plan, implement and evaluate a successful event. All while you will emphasize strategic partnerships, volunteer management and designing complementary events within the context of integrated hospitality operations.
