In this course, students will investigate the design features, materials used, and operating principles of an automotive air conditioning system. Studies will include the types of refrigerants being used and their effects on the environment. Students will learn the fundamentals of operation and servicing procedures for the refrigerant system and the various manual and automatic temperature control diagnostics.
