Description:

This course is intended to give students competency in computer-related skills to support their academic pursuits and be of immediate value to their employers. This course will prepare students to be computer literate and provide a basic working vocabulary and knowledge of computing and information concepts. Students will practice with commercial software packages such as Microsoft Office, Mitchell On Demand and AllData automotive service information applications. Electrical and Dynamometer simulation software will be utilized in the computer lab. Students will become familiar with using a PC to acquire data directly and indirectly from an automobile.
