Description:

Through lectures, practical demonstrations, research, and hands-on experience, students will learn about vehicle bodies and structures and how they are designed for their intended purpose. This course introduces the students to accident reconstruction, damage analysis and repair estimating. The students are introduced to proper panel removal and installation. Learning objectives cover S.I.R. disabling and enabling practices. Aerodynamics studies body design to reduce fuel costs and improve handling and stability. Upon completing this course, the student is expected to determine and measure uni-body and full-frame structures to meet the manufacturer's specifications and demonstrate an understanding of project planning.
