Through lecturing, practical demonstrations, research, and hands-on experience, the students will learn about vehicle bodies and structures and how they are designed for their purpose. This course introduces the students to accident reconstruction, damage analysis and repair estimating. The students are introduced to proper panel removal and installation. Learning objectives are covered on S.I.R. disabling and enabling practices. The study of aerodynamics looks at body design to lower fuel costs and improve handling and stability. Upon completing this course, the student is expected to determine and measure uni-body and full-frame structures to meet the manufacturer's specifications and demonstrate an understanding of project planning.
