Upon completion of this course, the apprentice will have a thorough understanding of the fundamental principles of technology related to machine operation. Specifically, they will gain an understanding of the properties of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and other materials for machines and the lubrication of these components. They will also gain some fundamental heat treatment principles.
