This course will emphasize the relationship between the anatomy (form) and physiology (function) of the human body's organ systems. The learner will investigate and analyze features of the integumentary, cardiovascular, lymphatic, digestive, respiratory, urinary, nervous, senses, musculoskeletal, endocrine and reproductive systems within the human body. The contribution of each system to the successful maintenance of homeostasis within the human body will be emphasized. This course will provide a foundation for subsequent pathophysiology, microbiology, and client care studies.
