Students continue to gain an understanding with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage the day-to-day operations working in the health services environment. Emphasis on health records management with record keeping in compliance with guidelines, policies, and governing regulations. Students will explore unit clerk procedures including transcribing physician's orders. Students will continue to utilize clinical management EMR system to manage electronic medical records. The importance of professional ethics, privacy and confidentiality will be highlighted through the course.
