This course will continue to build on the language of health care learned in ADMN1261 Anatomy and Medical Terminology I. The body systems are described using correct anatomical terminology. You will continue to work with medical word parts, rules of building and analyzing medical words, pronunciation, spelling and medical terms associated with the body systems. The course content is arranged by body systems, examining each body system's general function, system parts, relationship with other systems and common pathologies, including lab and diagnostic tests, clinical procedures, oncology and basic pharmacology. Note: Body systems components will be covered between ADMN 1261 Anatomy and Medical Terminology I and ADMN 1361 Anatomy and Medical Terminology II. Integumentary, Musculoskeletal, Digestive, Cardiovascular, Blood and Lymphatic, respiratory, Urinary, Endocrine, Nervous, Female Reproductive/obstetrics, Male, Sensory Systems.
