This advanced course in medical transcription builds on your utilization of language skills and formatting techniques for medical reports. Proper use of medical terminology, spelling, punctuation, and grammar, and further development of speed and accuracy in the transcription of spoken medical reports will be stressed. You will apply knowledge previously learned in Medical Transcription I and Medical Terminology while developing skill in transcribing medical dictation as it applies to a variety of medical specialties.
