This course exposes you to a variety of technologies that you will encounter in the media industry. Specifically, you will learn acting techniques for Green Screen/Special Effects; Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR); and Teleprompter reading. You will develop a familiarity with the production challenges associated with these technologies and appreciate that technical complexity may impact and affect performance. By working on various projects in these technologies you will learn to adapt your performance to accommodate technical challenges. You will also be responsible for writing and performing in your own original short project using special effects technology, while producing it from inception to completion
