Description:

In this course, you will develop skills in adapting to technical requirements for acting on camera. There will be a focus on such things as marks, eye-lines, lighting, sound, blocking and continuity. You will practice translating your acting technique to the technical demands of on-camera acting and recognize what a director and a cinematographer need from the actor. The actor will also identify crew positions to examine in practice, better to evaluate the rigorous demands of a film set, the protocols and collaboration of production positions, and the actors' place within the whole.

    • ACTN1200 - Acting II: Scene Study, Analysis and Acting Technique AND
    • ACTN1105 - The Actor and Technology: Behind the Camera Basics
