Description:

In this course you will develop skill with adapting to technical requirements for acting on camera. There will be a focus on such things as marks, eye-lines, lighting, sound, blocking and continuity. You will practice translation of your acting technique to the technical demands of acting on camera and recognize what a director and cinematographer needs from the actor. The actor will also identify crew positions to examine in practice to better evaluate the rigorous demands of a film set, the protocol and collaboration of production positions and the actors place within the whole.

    • ACTN1200 - Acting II: Scene Study, Analysis and Acting Technique AND
    • ACTN1105 - The Actor and Technology: Behind the Camera Basics
