You will apply scene analysis techniques to a variety of scenes. You will engage the acting fundamentals you have learned to date in scenes designed with specific performance challenges in mind, such as, but not limited to, different time periods; physical, mental, and/or vocal impairments; and dialects and ethnicities. During the semester, your preparation time will be progressively shortened, working toward a model that replicates standard entertainment business practices. During and/or between classes, you will be required to support fellow students in the recording of scenes as camera operators and sound technicians.
