Description:

You will apply scene analysis techniques to a variety of scenes. You will engage your acting fundamentals learned to date in scenes designed with specific performance challenges in mind such as, but not limited to, different time periods; physical, mental and/or vocal impairments; dialects and ethnicities. During the semester your preparation time will be progressively shortened - working toward a model that duplicates standard entertainment business practices. During and/or between classes you will be required to support fellow students in the recording of scenes as camera operators and sound technicians.

  • ACTN1200 - Acting II: Scene Study, Analysis and Acting Technique AND
  • ACTN1198 - The Actor and Technology: Film Editing Basics
