Description:

This course will make you a "Professional Voice User", proficient in understanding how the voice works and the health and maintenance of the voice as an acting instrument. All aspects involved in the discipline and control of the voice, in diction and articulation and in getting vocal sound rooted in the body with balanced resonance will be studied in depth and applied by students in vocal music and text readings. This course will prepare you for future courses where you will apply voices to specific acting disciplines such as mastering marketable vocal accents required by the film and television industries, commercial voice over performances and animated voices.
