Mandatory mask policy suspended as of July 4

Given current COVID trends and provincial and local public health directives, Niagara College will suspend the mandatory mask policy for its campuses as of July 4. Recognizing that key COVID indicators continue to fluctuate, masking will still be encouraged at Niagara College campuses but will no longer be mandatory except in specific academic areas where enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements are already in place. Important Convocation update for graduates and guests: Masking policy remains in effect for convocation

As we strive to create a safe, celebratory environment for all of our graduates and their guests, Niagara College’s mandatory mask policy will remain in effect for Convocation Ceremonies scheduled for June 20 – 24 with the following exceptions: graduates may briefly remove their mask for photos while crossing the graduation stage, platform speakers may remove their masks while delivering remarks, and graduates and guests may remove their masks while enjoying refreshments at the post-ceremony...
Update: Masking policy extended to mid-term break

Niagara College’s mandatory masking policy, set to expire at the end of May, has been extended to the mid-term break, June 27-July 1. A modified masking policy will take effect when studies resume July 4. Under the current policy, medical-grade or three-ply cloth masks are required in all campus buildings.
