Niagara College mourns the loss of former President Jacqueline P. Robarts

Niagara College is mourning the loss if its third President, Jacqueline P. Robarts, who passed away November 9. Robarts was a pioneer in Ontario’s postsecondary sector when she was appointed Niagara College President in 1978, becoming the first woman to lead a college in Ontario — a distinction she held until 1988. Flags lowered in memory of student Daniel Caron

College flags have been lowered to honour the memory of Daniel Caron, a student in term two of the Welding Techniques program, who passed away on October 8. Daniel is survived by his parents, Robert and Christine Caron, his sister Lesley Czegeny (Caron) and brother-in-law Steve Czegeny, as well as nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.
