Niagara College is continuing to improve parking availability at both NC campuses. Beginning Oct. 13, Parking Lot E3 at the Welland Campus (gravel lot near the Rice Road entrance) will be paved and painted. These improvements are meant to improve the efficiency of the lot and are expected to add approximately 50 new spaces.
During the week of October 15 – 19, sections of Lot E3 will be closed to complete this work. Some spaces will remain open and will be accessible from Chippawayan Trail. The Talbot Trail access to Lot E will be closed for the duration of the work.
Lot E3 will be completely closed during the Fall Break week, Oct. 22-26, to complete construction.
Last month, NC also opened and expanded Lot D4, adding over 130 new spaces. That lot is also expected to be paved in the coming months. To further ease any parking pressures caused by this work, temporary parking will also be available, if necessary, in the field west of Lot E3.

Niagara College has been experiencing higher than anticipated demand for parking at both campuses this Fall. We understand the impact this has had on our permit holders and thank our students, staff and visitors for their patience as we continue to improve parking capacity.
