Niagara College has an accommodation process in place to provide support for employees with disabilities. If you require a specific accommodation, please contact your Manager to discuss. Our Disability Management Practice outlines the process that will be followed in meeting your accessibility needs.

For issues involving performance management, career development, advancement, and redeployment, we will take into account the accessibility needs, and individual accommodation plans, of employees with disabilities during the assessment process.

Hiring Process

Niagara College provides accommodations to applicants with disabilities throughout our hiring process. Training

All Niagara College staff (including student employees) are required to complete training in AODA upon hire. A training module is available through MyNC, and the successful completion the module is a requirement of on-going employment for all staff.

  • Accessibility Awareness Orientation – To access this module: Log into MyNC, select “More Applications”, expand the “Employee Training Modules” accordion and choose “Training – Accessibility Awareness Orientation”.
