Set up your Niagara College account.
Before you start, it’s important to set up your Niagara College account.
You’ll receive an email from Niagara College before your course starts. The email will include your student ID number and instructions on how to set up your account.
Niagara Colleges uses a portal called MyNC. You will sign into this portal with your student account to access Blackboard (our Learning Management System), your student email, and other important services and apps.
Visit the NC Information Technology Services website for helpful articles about Setting Up Your Account, Blackboard and Email Help, How to Reset Your Password, and more.
Make sure you check Blackboard and your student email every day for important announcements.

Get your NC student ID card
Your Niagara College Student Identification (ID) Card is your pass to Niagara College services.
Each student is issued one free student ID card at the beginning of their time at Niagara College.
To get your ID card you will submit your photo online and your card will be mailed to you.

Update your NC account information.
Be sure to check your NC account information to make sure it’s correct.
Your NC account has information like your mailing address, email address, preferred name, phone number, and whether or not you want to receive urgent notifications from our NCALERT and NCBB systems.
To check and/or update your contact information:
- Log into MyNC.
- Select Dashboard.
- Go to My Student Record and select Manage Profile.

Read the Student Code of Conduct
The Student Code of Conduct Policy provides guidelines for appropriate behaviour for all Niagara College students and a framework for addressing non-academic misconduct.
It’s important to familiarize yourself with the Code of Conduct policy. All students are expected to act responsibly and uphold standards of conduct that form the basis for good citizenship which includes civility, responsibility and respect.

Need your transcript?
Your high school will receive a copy of your transcript when you complete your course.
However, official transcripts are also available from the Registrar’s Office free of charge.
