\r\n The research ethics application is used by faculty, staff, students, and external investigators who plan to conduct research involving human participants at Niagara College or under its auspices (external research studies shall receive administrative consent prior to the submission of the application for ethical review).<\/div>\r\n\n\n\n

For research to be considered for ethical review, a completed research ethics application package must be submitted to researchethics@niagaracollege.ca<\/a>, along with all final research documents. Researchers shall consult the Niagara College Research Ethics Application Guide for Research Involving Human Participants<\/a><\/em> for further application instruction and details. The guide includes an assessment tool used by the REB to evaluate applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to avoid any delays, researchers are strongly encouraged to submit their completed application package on or before the scheduled submission date. All applications that are incorrect or incomplete will be returned for completion. If an application is incomplete after the due date, it will not be considered for review at the next REB meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Niagara College Research Ethics Board will resume reviewing new applications in September 2025. Applications submitted during the summer will still be accepted, but processing times may be longer.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\t
