Working Group: Grounds

Policy Purpose

The School of Environment and Horticulture (SoEH) is responsible for Daniel J. Patterson (DJP) campus grounds maintenance while contributing expertise to the design and build of related projects. These responsibilities are driven through academic planning, experiential learning, and an operations team. At the same time, Facilities Management Services (FMS), and Planning, Sustainability, and Capital Projects (PSCP) are responsible for the planning and execution of campus improvements, typically by way of capital investments (e.g. accessible pathway project). To ensure there is adequate planning and execution, the DJP Grounds working group will serve as a communication and planning platform for FMS, PSCP and SoEH.
