Economic Geography I

While studying economic geography, you will be concerned with discovering the location and distribution of economic activity. Your focus will be on the location of industries, transportation and trade and the changing value of real estate. You will also focus on various trading Blocs and their respective trading agreements within the Asia, Europe and the Americas. You will look at a variety of trading agreements such as the NAFTA, the EU, APEC, MERCOSUR, CARICOM, and the ANDEAN pact. You will analyze how these agreements affect the trade between nations around the world. Information from a variety of countries will also be used to help you to research and develop information for your reports.
