Oktoberfest with Chef Frank Dodd from Trius Winery

Make an authentic Oktoberfest feast with Chef Frank Dodd of Trius Winery! In this hands-on cooking class you will learn how to make sausage from scratch, authentic sauerkraut, classic German potato salad and homemade mustard, all while tasting the perfect Trius wine to pair. Then, pack it all up and take it home to serve to your loved ones. Bragging rights included. In addition to the spoils from the kitchen each participant will also go home with fresh baked soft pretzels prepared by our baking department at the Canadian Food & Wine Institute. The experience culminates at our NC Brewery where participants will have a guided beer tasting. Before heading home, participants will receive a growler filled with a beer of their choice.
