Electrical and Electronic Drafting

This is an introductory course in AutoCAD and a PCB (printed circuit board) fabrication software. Students will learn in AutoCAD how to create electrical/electronic schematics, residential electrical layouts, the differences between layout and model space, and how to draw side views from an isometric drawing. Using a PCB fabrication software, students will learn how to create electronic schematics, create new parts, and will link both layers to produce a functional PCB layout.
