Payroll Fundamentals II
Building on Payroll Fundamentals I, this course will introduce the learner to additional concepts and principles of preparing payroll. At this level, the learner will explore how to calculate organizational remittances to federal, provincial and third party stakeholders and become skilled at completing year and accounting documentation for payroll. In addition, the individual will discover how to communicate all aspects of organizational remittances, accounting and year end requirements to all stakeholders. NOTE: The tuition fee payable to Niagara College does not include the CPA material and exam fees. Students must register with both Niagara College and the Canadian Payroll Association at least two weeks prior to the start date in order to receive the material and textbook in time for the first class.In order to receive credit towards CPA designation - Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, students will be required to attain a minimum grade of a 65%.
