Computer Aided Manufacturing

The student will create CAD (Computer Aided Design) data files and determine the operations required to create a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) program that will; define part boundaries; create tool motion commands for course projects. The student will generate the CNC programs using CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software on the student's laptop computer. The student will transfer computer generated programs to the CNC Lathe and Mill controllers and manufacture the projects.
