Official Terms and Conditions (Ontario only)

1. Sponsor and Administrator

This prize draw (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Niagara College Canada (“Niagara College”).

The Contest begins at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, and closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, March 30, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). Entries received after the Contest Period will not be accepted.

The UCAS Applicant Survey associated with this Contest is administered by Academica Group.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry:

  • are residents of Ontario, Canada;
  • applicants to Niagara College seeking to begin a regular post-secondary program in May 2026 (Spring Term), September 2026 (Fall Term), or January 2027 (Winter Term);
  • were invited by email in March 2026 to complete the UCAS Applicant Survey administered by Academica Group; and
  • completed the survey during the Contest Period using the unique survey link provided in their invitation email.

For the avoidance of doubt, an applicant is an individual who has applied to a program of study at Niagara College, regardless of whether they are subsequently accepted for enrolment. Enrolment is not a requirement for eligibility to participate in the survey.

Each survey link is unique to the recipient and must not be shared with others.

If an entrant is under the age of majority (18 years of age), their parent or legal guardian will be responsible for all matters relating to the Contest, including acceptance of the prize and signing any required documentation.

The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win:

  • employees of Niagara College;
  • their spouses, parents, children, or siblings; and
  • any person residing in the same household as such employees.

3. How to Enter

No purchase is required to be entered into or win in the Contest.

To enter the Contest, eligible individuals must successfully follow the instructions and complete the UCAS Applicant Survey during the Contest Period. Individuals who complete the survey during the Contest Period will be automatically entered into the draw.

IMPORTANT: Message and data rates may apply if an entrant enters this Contest on his/her mobile device. Entrants should consult their wireless provider’s pricing plans. Mobile entry is not required to enter or win a prize in this Contest.

Only one (1) entry per individual is permitted. If it is discovered that an individual attempted to enter more than once, all entries associated with that individual may be disqualified.

Entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on March 30, 2026 for the external prize draw (section 4. below). To also participate in the bonus draws conducted during the survey period, entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on March 19, 2026; March 22, 2026; March 25, 2026; or March 29, 2026 (section. 5 below).

All entries must be complete and are subject to verification by Niagara College, in its sole and absolute discretion. Those who do not follow all the instructions, provide the required information in their UCAS Applicant Survey, abide by these Terms and Conditions and/or other instructions of the Niagara College may be disqualified, in Niagara College’s sole and absolute discretion.

Each entrant (i) grants to Niagara College the irrevocable right to use their entry material in any media worldwide and for any purpose related to the Contest (or any similar contest), including the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from, their entry submission without notification, compensation or additional consideration to them, and (ii) waives all claims of moral rights in any use of their entry material by Niagara College pursuant to the rights granted in these Terms and Conditions.

Niagara College collects entrant personal information under the legal authority of the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Act. Each entrant acknowledges, agrees and consents to Niagara College collecting and using their personal information for the purpose of administering the Contest and disclosing their personal information to Academica Group for the purpose of administering the External Prize Draw. 4. External Prize Draw – Academica Group

To be eligible for the external prize draw, entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on March 30, 2026. Participants who complete the UCAS Applicant Survey will be automatically entered into a prize draw administered by Academica Group, for a chance to win one of five (5) $1,000 cash prizes.

This external prize draw is sponsored and administered by Academica Group, and Niagara College is not responsible for the administration of that draw or the distribution of its prizes.

5. Niagara College Draws

In addition to the External Prize Draw, Niagara College will conduct four (4) bonus draws during the Contest Period.

Each bonus draw will award one (1) $250 e-gift card. For the avoidance of doubt, there are a total of four (4) $250 e-gift cards available to be won in this Niagara College Contest. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions during the Contest Period.

Bonus draws will be take place at Academica Group on behalf of Niagara College at approximately 8:30 AM on the following dates:

  • Bonus Draw #1: Friday, March 20, 2026 – 1 × $250 e-gift card
  • Bonus Draw #2: Monday, March 23, 2026 – 1 × $250 e-gift card
  • Bonus Draw #3: Thursday, March 26, 2026 – 1 × $250 e-gift card
  • Bonus Draw #4: Monday, March 30, 2026 – 1 × $250 e-gift card

To be eligible for the corresponding bonus draw, entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the following dates:

  • March 19, 2026
  • March 22, 2026
  • March 25, 2026
  • March 29, 2026

Niagara College’s website database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Contest.

Niagara College will notify potential bonus draw winners by email on the day of the draw.

If a potential bonus draw winner cannot be contacted, does not comply with the eligibility criteria and/or does not otherwise comply with Terms and Conditions, they will be disqualified and Niagara College may, in its sole and absolute discretion, select another entrant from the eligible entries until such time as a potential bonus draw winner satisfies the terms set out herein. Niagara College is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a potential bonus draw winner to receive notification or for the Niagara College to receive a potential bonus draw winner’s response.

Winners may receive a maximum of one (1) External Prize from Academica Group and one (1) Bonus Prize from Niagara College, as applicable.

6. Prize Distribution

Niagara College distributes e-gift cards through EverythingCard, a third-party vendor.

Emails sent from [email protected] are legitimate and part of the official prize distribution process. Participants should check their junk or spam folders and, if they have won a prize, follow the instructions provided in the email to redeem their prize.

Prize winners may be required to confirm their eligibility and provide information reasonably required to administer the Contest and distribute the prize. Failure to provide the requested information within the specified time may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following terms and conditions apply to each prize: (i) each prize is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the issuer; (ii) each prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, resold, substituted, or redeemed for cash, except at the sole and absolute discretion of Niagara College; (iii) a prize will not be replaced if lost, destroyed, mutilated, or stolen, or if it is not taken for any reason; and (iv) by accepting a prize, each confirmed prize winner agrees to waive all recourse against Niagara College, the administrator, and any other related contest parties.

7. Publicity

Niagara College may publicly disclose limited information about prize winners on the survey FAQ page, as described on that page.

Consent for public disclosure of winner information is voluntary and not a condition of participation in the survey or eligibility to receive a prize.

Within the survey, participants are asked to select one of the following disclosure options:

  • I consent to the public disclosure of “my first name, NC applicant
  • I do not consent to the public disclosure of any personal information. In this case, if selected as a winner, the published list will state: “NC applicant”

Participants may withdraw or modify their disclosure preference up to 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the day before the public posting of winner information by contacting the research team at [email protected]. Public postings occur on the same date as the prize draws (March 20, 23, 26, and 30, 2026),

Withdrawal or modification of consent will not affect eligibility for the prize or receipt of the prize.

8. Decisions of the Sponsors

All decisions made by Niagara College and Academica Group regarding any aspect of their respective Contests are final and binding.

9. Acceptance of Rules

By participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees:

  • that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these rules;
  • to be bound by the decisions of Niagara College and Academica Group, which are final; and
  • to provide proof of eligibility if requested.

Participation in the Contest is voluntary.

10. Limitation of Liability

Niagara College will not be responsible for:

  • late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries;
  • typographical or production errors;
  • entries that fail to comply with these rules;
  • internet failures or technical malfunctions involving networks, computer systems, servers, software, or service providers; or
  • any losses, damages, or claims arising from participation in the Contest or its sponsorship.
  • Use or non-use of a prize by a winner.

Each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Contest sponsor, administrator, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the Contest. Each entrant further agrees to indemnify and hold such parties harmless from any claims arising from their participation in the Contest.

Governing Law

The Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, territorial, municipal and local laws. This Contest shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the province of Ontario.
