Hey, just so you know, feeling some academic anxiety is completely normal – everyone experiences it at some point. It’s just your brain’s way of saying, “Hey, this stuff is important to me.” The cool thing about these survey results? They’re like a personal guide to show you the support options out there. Think of them as a roadmap to help you navigate through the stress and find what works best for you. So, no worries, there’s plenty of support to get you through it. That includes your very own ConfideNCe Program team who is here to support you.
Below, you’ll find tailored recommendations based on your Academic Anxiety Scale score (i.e., High Academic Anxiety). Since anxiety can fluctuate, we recommend checking out tips for each category and connecting with your ConfideNCe Program team. We’ll also reach out to schedule some 1:1 time to chat about your results and the supports that are available to you.

Score between 30 – 44 (high academic anxiety)
Looks like your score’s pointing to some high academic anxiety. No sweat, though—there’s a whole crew here to back you up. Think about dropping by the counseling center to pick up some solid stress-busting strategies. And why not give mindfulness meditation or yoga a shot? They’re great for dialing down the academic anxiety. Plus, we can chat about academic accommodations, like snagging some extra time on tests or finding a chill spot to work, to make things more manageable for you.

- Professional Help: Seek help from a mental health professional who can provide tailored strategies for wellbeing. We can help to connect you to Health, Wellness, and Accessibility Services such as Counsellors, Nurses, Doctors, Accessibility Consultants, Learning Strategists, and Assistive Technologists. - Resiliency Skills: Learn more about tailored taking strategies, stress management tools, or to connect with services that can support your individual learning needs. Contact your ConfideNCe Program team at [email protected].
- Support Network: Build a support network of peers, mentors, friends, family, and teacher who understand your challenges and can provide ongoing support. Connect with other students through the ConfideNCe Program Homeroom , drop in to a 1:1 session with your ConfideNCe Program team, connect with peers through the ConfideNCe Program Homeroom or in person!
