Actions of Academic Dishonesty include but are not limited to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-arrows\">\n<li><strong>Dishonesty <\/strong>on test\/exams, assignments, lab work\/reports, projects, social media posts and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Plagiarism:&nbsp;<\/strong>The use of someone else\u2019s work and presenting it as one\u2019s own without properly documenting the source.&nbsp;This includes but is not limited to words, images, ideas, phrases, signatures and\/or computations. Refer to the Sections on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niagaracollege.ca\/launchguide\/success\/research\/#citing\"><strong>Citations and Plagiarism<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The unauthorized use of Gen AI. <\/strong>Refer to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.niagaracollege.ca\/policies\/ai-statement\/\"><strong>Academic Integrity and Artificial Intelligence Statement<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Falsification of an Academic Credential:&nbsp;<\/strong>Submission or use of an academic credential such as a transcript, diploma, or degree that has been falsified, tampered with or modified in any way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Falsification of documents: <\/strong>Submission or use of any documents such as Medical notes, resumes, references and&nbsp; any other forms that have been falsified, tampered with or modified in any way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The academic integrity values of <em>honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility, and courage <\/em>provide the guiding principles for our commitment to fostering ethical learning and academic excellence. In line with our expectations of the college community and our commitment to producing high-quality graduates, Niagara College must maintain the highest standards of academic honesty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.niagaracollege.ca\/policies\/view\/student-records\/academic-honesty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NC\u2019s&nbsp;Academic&nbsp;Honesty&nbsp;policy<\/a>&nbsp;and be sure you understand your responsibilities as a student.
