A June 27 article by the\u00a0Toronto Star\u00a0<\/em>and the three Niagara dailies (the\u00a0St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Welland Tribune<\/em>) reported on a partnership between Niagara College and Hoseo University in South Korea on artificial intelligence research.<\/p>\n

The partnership will support NC’s photonics program that is working on technology that could indicate when a volcano will erupt, help the agricultural industry gather specific information about the condition of lands, even provide visually impaired individuals a better understanding of the world around them.<\/p>\n
