Learn How to Save a Life Overdose and Naloxone Training

Representatives from the Ontario Addictions Treatment Centre and Towards Recovery clinics will be at the Welland Campus on Monday April 10 to share information with staff and students regarding Fentanyl and Naloxone education.

Fentanyl is the leading cause of Opioid deaths in Ontario. The session will focus on learning how to correctly identify an overdose and counteract the effects using Naloxone – which is used to treat opioid overdoses.

An information session, Learn How to Save a Life Overdose and Naloxone Training, will be held from 12:30 to 1:20 p.m. in AH 153.

There will also be an information booth in the AHI lobby between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
